And now it is time for the post homecoming report, and the last one I'll ever have to write (thank Heaven).
I got up around 10 due to the fact that I was at the game until late. My throat still hurt. I wrote my dad an e-mail and then searched the internet to see if I cuold find out how to put my hair into a beehive. I sort of found it, but it was much to complicated for my taste.
Mommy ix-nayed the plan, so I took a shower, got dressed, then made death by chocolate. I had so much stuff that it piled out of the bowl.
I watched Quantum Leap for a while until Mommy decided I needed to get ready, which I did in about 10 minutes, so the plan would have worked. I even found my makeup. I was hard to figure out what to do with my hair, though. I eventually settled on hairsticks.
I couldn't remember which shoes I had worn, so I thought, "I'll look at the wedding pictures!" Due to my extreme sneakiness and craftiness, however, I was not in any of the wedding pictures. I eventually remembered I had worn the chinese style slippers.
Mommy and I decided to go to CVS and buy makeup and then go to a movie after dinner, so we looked up the movie times, then Jess's address.
We went to Jess's and were not late. Then they wanted to take pictures, so Amanda, Beth, and I fled. Our informant, who shall remain nameless, directed us to the porch. I'm sure that nobody else cared, but it was fun for us. We even hid under my shawl. Mrs. Bethy almost caught us, but we hid well. Or maybe she was just pretending.
Then we ate. Amanda, Beth, and I had the "Single and Loving it" table. Then we hid Andy's camera. Then Christine came over, Amanda said she couldn't sit there, and Christine voted to change the name to the "About to be Single and Loving it" table. Oo, dis.
I mainly ate cocktail weenies, but also had some pasta and notsospicy chicken. I also ate with my hairsticks to appease Beth. Then I had a pumpkin bar and some death by chocolate for dessert.
I wandered downstairs to find Jess's cute fish, which everyone thereafter flocked to see. We watched some baseball, had celebrations and dismays about the college football score, and then they all left.
Mommy had told me she was going to come back at 8 but then she said I was supposed to call her. No matter. We helped clean up, snarked Mrs. DeSoto's and Mrs. Bertoglio's bowls, and then were off.
We had to stop at Rite-Aid instead of CVS, which apparently has a much bigger selection, and we saw some people going to Robinson's HC and Keito's friend Micelle(?). I don't think I can spell Robinson or Micelle. Anyway, We bought makeup, so now I have blush, eye liner, and eye shadow. Mommy wouldn't buy me blue, so I got purple. She says blue eye shadow should have died in the 80's.
Fairfax Town Center was out destination, to see "Shall We Dance." It was actually very good. I still want to see the Japanese version, though.
And that is the end. No intrigue, just me and my mom.

How common are capncosmo's interests
I am sad because the wrong logo is on the senior shirts, and it had to be the one I drew. :( Also because I ordered a medium...? Something tells me this is wrong.

Wait a minute, I forgot to express my OUTRAGE.
So, we went to JMU. There was a band with a bigger pit than a guard. There were some cool ships/balloons. It was good.
UNTIL THIS ONE BAND was doing a WWII show and started playing FIRST CONTACT! Why can they play Star Trek and not us when we have Star Trek uniforms and they were doing a WWII show!? BTW, if John wanted to win and make the winter show Star Trek, I would do it in a heartbeat. Just so you know...
So apparently I have to be skittle tommorrow? *sigh*
Also, this is for all Alumni who may be comming for HC:
There's a thing in the band room before the game where they want you to go so they can give you free pizza. I think. I'm sure if I'm wrong I'll be promptly corrected. I also think they want to know you're coming. And since I'd like to know if you're coming, I'll tell them if you tell me.

My angst tastes like...
Black Licorice Find your angst's flavor
Unique and difficult to place, your angst finds its source in something you keep hidden. You have something serious and possibly traumatic, but you try to hide it from everyone and just tell them to ignore you when you seem troubled, that everything's really OK. You might think that you have good reasons for not telling people, and some of them may in fact be true, but most likely a lifetime of keeping your secrets has led to a resolution fortified by rationalization that nobody else can shake simply because you never give them a chance. Ask yourself if it would really be that horrible to open up to others; nobody says you have to do it all at once, even. But you should at least try getting out of your shell a little. It's not healthy to internalize everything and conceal it. Anyway, if people really care for you, and they probably do, then they'll be loving and supportive regardless of any reason to the contrary.
I'm not really putting this here because I like the quiz so much. I'm putting it here because I like Saturn. And because they put the angst scale in terms of something I can understand ->
On a scale of 1 to 8 with 1 being almost no angst and 8 being more angst than a room full of CLAMP bishounen, where's your angst?
Oh man.

So, today I have no school.
Due to Mommy deleting the e-mail I cannot see James Earl Jones :(
Due to Andy not picking up his stupid phone, I guess he's not either.
I wouldn't normally post this, but since my dad is using this for infomation: My brother's girlfriend broke up with him last week. Life is not going well for that little dude.
Funny and releveant quote: "I'm ordering the hit tommorrow. I'm calling Kate."
So, Katana dear, I guess you get to go smash in so more kneecaps :P
I think I'm not going to the HC dance, and the way this thing is being organized, I think maybe I won't go to dinner. I am definately not going if it's to Marco Polo. Seeing as no one has presented me with compelling arguements to do either, I really find myself not caring.
Speaking of the dinner, do I have to slap you, Stephen? You were there last year. I will never, EVER set foot in that restaurant again unless I am dead, in which case I wouldn't be walking, so there would be no foot-setting.
Also speaking of the dinner, I don't know a really polite way to tell people a) when their ideas are dumb, especially when I've already researched it and shot it down and b) when they need to make a decision and be willing to back it up. There's a very compelling logic called "I'm the one organizing this and unless you would like to do it, we're doing it this way, end of story." Even though I'm not even doing it, I find myself overly frustrated, and if I thought I was going, I'd do it myself.
Daddy, you really need to get an account so I can friend lock things when I want to and not have to worry about you not being able to read it.

So, I did pages 1, 2, 3, & 7 of my application yesterday. Too bad those were the easy pages. Right now, though, I'm confused about teacher recs. Some places they (W&M) say "up to three" and then in others they say, "none are required, but only one if you're gonna do it." Help? Katana?
So, the Japanese have found the ulitimate way to fold a shirt, and it works! If I wasn't too lazy, I'd take a picture of my shirt and show it to you. As it is, I'll just give you a link.
The N shows a lot of Canadian shows, but not the Australian show I like. Not to say the other shows were bad. As a matter of fact, they were pretty good. The only thing is, of the four shows the N shows (that I've ever seen), three are high school dramas and one is the Fresh Prince of BelAir. I think maybe they need some more variety. Also, they show Hillary Duff commercials boasting that children aged 8-14 love her movie, when the target audience for this channel (as I understand it) is older teens. Especially since they talk about frat parties for 11th graders, gay guys, and rape. Oh, and crashing your boyfriend's car into other cars to get revenge on your rapist when he is found "not guilty." Some thing tells me that doesn't earn a TVG. But I did get to see that cool get-up Canadian lawyers wear. Here's a picture, courtesy Google Canada.
So today I have to make a Gold Award plan and finish my apps. man...
Are we doing a special surprise thing for Andy's birthday? Seeing as it's Wednesday, and we have not the school... yeah.
And I will go away now.

We had a blackout, so I lost my college essay. I wrote it again in techlab, but it wasn't very good.
Then I got cramps. yay.
At practice Abbie broke :(
Christine
Krystle
Duty
Steve
Abbie
Ethan
Em
Kelly
Well, that works. Em said she'd go with Jack if he could tell her her name, and Kelly is finding a date, so that leaves Krystle.... Hm, what to do, what to do? If you know any eligable guys who might like to take Krystle to HC, please give me a call.
Speaking of which, I hate having to keep shooting people's ideas down, especially since I've already looked into them and found they don't work. Yeah, well...
I think maybe I just won't go this year. Why go to a dance if you don't want to dance with anyone, and why go to all the trouble of getting ready for food? I find myself in the Myrtle Beach quandry. *sigh*
Speaking of quandries, I forgot to tell Ethan I found his dickey. Oh, well. :P
I am eating stromboli. I don't like stromboli. As a matter of fact, there aren't many Italian foods I *do* like. *sad*
I guess I'll watch Quantum Leap and try to drown my sorrows somehow.... Life's not sad, beautiful and wonderful. It's a series of bad things that sometimes lets up a bit so you think you're doing well.
I am the ever optomist.

Shutout, shutout, we want a shutout!
And we got it.
So, like Ethan rocks for finding my ring. Also, everyone is mean to me. One of these days I'm just going to crack and kill you all. Thought you might want to know.
Alexander Hamilton is cute.
(That was the quote of the day, but I thought it better to let it sink in first.)
Also, I am now engaged to a futuristic strobe light bearing space man. Wheeeeeeee!
which leads to...
Ethan: But its her engagement ring!
Kelly: She can get another one when she really gets engaged.
And also:
Steve Ballard: You all are brilliant but you're *snaps all around* all over the place.
Us: so... you're telling us we're ADD?
We got new mallets!
And apparently Wakefield just got creamed by Robbinson (72-7), not that that's TRUELY an indicator, but...
Also, that Robbinson game is homecoming for them. Makes sense, don't it?
And I think that's the end.
